Dr. William Mitchell’s military, educational, humanitarian, and consulting career covers several decades and has led to international recognition for his work with earthquake disaster response teams and mitigation in Turkey. He is an internationally renowned expert on water issues confronting Turkey, Syria, and Iraq. His three decades of military service extended from an Infantry Private in the Texas Army National Guard to Colonel in the Air Force.

 

Dr. Mitchell served on numerous leadership positions including Director, International Political Economy, Air War College; Vice Commander and Commander of Izmir Air Base Group Turkey; Base Commander of Incirlik Air Force Base, Turkey; the Atlantic Council of the United States Delegate for the AFA to Belgium and the Netherlands, NATO; He has operational and academic experiences in 57 countries.

Dr. Mitchell has provided his expertise on a variety of subjects and appeared on many media platforms.
